“When you’re racing against someone like Jett, it forces you to dig deeper and push harder. You know, when you have a rider who’s got that much skill and natural speed, it doesn’t just elevate his performance, it elevates everyone around him, including me. It makes the competition tougher, but that’s exactly what this sport is about—being pushed to your limits and finding out just how much you’ve got left in the tank.
And let me tell you, it makes the whole championship so much more exciting. When Jett’s out there doing his thing, it adds another layer to the race, another level of intensity. It’s like every lap becomes a battle not just against the track, but against someone who’s always ready to throw down something special. So yeah, it’s been a lot of fun to watch him progress and raise the bar, but now we’re at a point where I’ll be racing without him in the next 450 race. It’s definitely going to be a different dynamic.
Even though it’ll be a bit of a shift with Jett out, the competition doesn’t stop. It never does. We all keep pushing forward, and that’s what makes this sport so incredible. The level of racing, the excitement, the unpredictability—it’s what keeps the fans coming back for more. Even if Jett isn’t out there, the fight for the top is just as intense. It’s still all about being the best, doing everything you can to stay at the top, and making every race count.
So yeah, Jett’s injury is definitely a big talking point, but at the end of the day, we’re all out here trying to do our best. We’ll see how everything shakes out, but I’ve got no doubt Jett’s going to come back even stronger when he’s ready. It’s just a matter of time. In the meantime, I’m focused on my ride and doing everything I can to keep the competition as fierce as ever.
